Nice
Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport lies a few miles west of the centre of Nice, right at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. So if you're on a short break to Nice you won't spend much time travelling to and from you accommodation in Nice. Free shuttle service between the two terminals, with drop-offs at the various car parks, including the car hire parking area near Terminal 2. Many airlines fly to and from Nice, check the airport's website. The following is a selection of airlines flying to and from Nice:
Brussels Airlines (Brussels)
EasyJet (UK, Berlin, Paris, Basel-Mulhouse)
Ryanair (Dublin)
Germanwings (Germany, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Turkey)
Air Berlin (Germany, Scandinavia, Paris, London, Rome)
Blue 1 (Helsinki)
Norwegian (Norway)
Flybe (Southampton, Exeter, Jersey)
BMI Baby (mainly Midlands)
fly baboo (Geneva)
Nîmes
A small airport in the Languedoc, even closer to the Western Provence than Montpellier. But only Ryanair has cheap flights to and from Nîmes. Modern airport with good long-term car parking (mostly cars with UK number plates during the summer).
Ryanair (UK, Brussels)
Toulon
Toulon-Hyères Airport is located southeast of Hyères, just 23km from Toulon and 52km from Saint Tropez.
Ryanair (London Stansted)
Saint Tropez
The tiny airport is 17km west of St.Tropez in La Môle. Only Fly Baboo flies here from Geneva otherwise mostly private planes. French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint Exupéry (1900-1944) lived in La Môle for some time with his grandparents and that explains the aerodrome here.
fly baboo (Geneva), awful website, better check their timetable webpage first. During the season 3-4 flights a week between Geneva and St.Tropez.
